I read
somewhere recently that people with blogs experience a greater mental health
boost than people who keep a journal.** I find this interesting and appealing. As
a lifelong sufferer of ennui or “near depression” (my clinical term), I could
use a mental health boost. Plus it satisfies a certain vanity, it’s like, “Yeah! I will have an audience! Finally!”
But then I
think, WTH will I write about? And WTH would someone else want to read it? I guess we'll figure that out along the way.
**I have no idea where I read this, and none of my internet searches have turned up anything fruitful. Perhaps I invented it.
